OSU Extension in Tuscarawas County offers a variety of classes to meet your food safety needs. You will receive the necessary training needed for managers and employees in the food service industry to meet the requirements set forth by the Ohio Department of Health.

Food Safety Manager (Level 2) Training Options - Click Here
Tuscarawas county offers in-person and online options for food safety manager level training for food service managers, operators, and owners with accurate, up-to-date information on all aspects of handling food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving.
Registration Fee: $150
Food Safety Person In Charge (Level 1) Training Options - Click Here
Person In Charge Employee Training is a one-day basic food safety training which meets ODH Level 1 Training Requirements for food service employees as well as those opening an establishment for the first time.

This three hour food safety short course covers food service employee essentials. Participants receive a ServSafe® certificate of completion; this is not an ODH Certificate course.
