Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention was designed by Dr. Paul Lam at the Tai Chi for Health Institute, in conjunction with the National Arthritis Foundation. Rebecca Davis was funded by the Ohio Department of Health to provide this class in Tuscarawas County. It is a 16-session series backed by years of research. Aging Smart- Cooking for 1 or 2

Prevent monetary and food waste in your home by learning to shop and cook for just one or two. This program is flexible to dietary and budget restriction.

Matter of Balance

Million Hearts

This curriculum provides those with cardiovascular disease or at risk for cardiovascular disease with lessons to help them engage in positive behaviors that can reduce their risk factors. Topics include:

Wits Workout is a peer-reviewed, pilot-tested, brain health resource tool developed to assist leaders who provide programming to older adults in community settings. Based on the research that intellectual challenge and social connectedness are two of several factors that contribute to brain health throughout life, Wits Workout has two main goals—to provide purposeful opportunities for older adults to engage intellectually, and to increase their socialization through ongoing group participation.
