2023 Residential and Non-Residential Trainings

All counselors must complete at least 12 hours of counselor preparation training as required by the Ohio 4-H Program. Any counselor not having at least 12 hours of documented training prior to leaving for camp will not be permitted to serve as a counselor.

All first-year counselors are required to attend - and returning counselors are highly encouraged to attend - a residential training at Camp Piedmont scheduled for May 26-27, 2023. Individuals with a valid conflict made known during the time of application may attend an alternate training pending pre-approval.
