Checks for members who sold animals at the Market Livestock Auction and Small Animal Auction during the fair can be picked up on Saturday, November 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Clover Café. Members must have their completed record book and a thank you card for their buyer to receive their check. Thank you’s should be properly addressed with the buyer’s address, the member’s return address, and must have a postage stamp. We will have names and addresses for all buyers available at check pick up. Thank you cards and stamps will be available for purchase at check distribution ($2/card, $1/stamp).
Members may send a parent/guardian/family member to pick up their livestock check on their behalf on November 1. That individual must present the member’s project book and thank you letter.
Members who are unable to pick up their checks on Saturday, November 1 may bring their completed project book(s) and thank you note(s) to the Tuscarawas County Extension Office by Friday, November 14. Books will be reviewed by the respective committee. Members may then return to the Extension Office to pick up their reviewed book(s) and livestock check(s) on or after November 24. Checks will not be available the same day books are dropped off for review.
